• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Amazon.com has the Beauty of the Burst softcover book on sale for 24.46 , ... and they have a "share the love" program that lets you specify someone else's email address so they in turn can buy the same item for an additional 10% off (24.46 - 2.44 = 22.02 in this case),
Plus when your friend buys you get a credit for the 10% savings to be used on your next purchase.
I already processed my order, but for anyone interested this looks like a good way to save a few bucks. :dude

bn.com had the hard cover on sale in November, 1999 for $23.24 plus $3.95 shipping for a total of $27.19. Maybe I should have bought more than one and gave them out as gifts...

If I can get a hardcover...

I would spring for a second copy. My soft-cover is falling to pieces and it's brand spankin' new. Much like guitars, "they don't make 'em like they used to..."

I am totally bummed! BOTB at the local bookstore is $52.50 for softcover and $112.00 for hard!! This is in Canadian funds 'cause we get ripped off paying every f**king tax there is plus some you never even heard of! Musician's Friend had this for $15.99 a couple of months ago, but ship only to the U.S.

Where the hell's NAFTA when you need it?

Slim, the biggest beneficiary of NAFTA was Mexico. I don't recall seeing references to Canada when anyone discussed NAFTA. When president Bush (Dad) made his "1000 points of light" statement, he wasn't facing North. :lol2
