Anyone played the 1964 Candy Apple Red Strat at Lark Street?

Has anyone here played it?

A nice guitar with one issue: badly repaired ding on the front of the guitar. Buzzy says it's a good 'un. It's from probably my favorite period of 1960s Strats (late 1964; neck is November, pickups are December, I think). Neat to have a "custom color" for not an insane sum. Personally, I hardly even notice cosmetic issues in an otherwise straight guitar. This would hurt at resale time, but I tend to hold on to guitars forever.

They look clay in the photo, but I'm pretty sure they're pearl. It's on consignment: asking $15.5. You can buy pristene sunbursts six months newer than this from dealers for $15, pretty close to pristene ones six months newer for $13.5. CAR does indeed come at a premium.
