• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Almost time.

Congrats - Nice one, the carve looks good, too... and is that checking I see? Is it Aged by Gibson?

:salude

I'll still covet your Darkburst R0, in the mirror...:jim

I'm guessing that those are Historic Makeovers inlays? If so, the above two photos would probably be the most persuasive HM inlay-replacement "after" pics I've yet seen.... :salude

Looks nice Sean. I think about R4's quite often. Hope I can resist getting serious for a while.

That is the lightest set of strings I have ever seen. Looks like that guitar will be bringing the hotness too. I just love my R4. Hope yours loves you looooong time. I'm going to try and play an '03 R4 tomorrow. My '07 needs company!

Salute', TB.

Thanks dudes.:salude
The R4 is coming from Dave Johnson.
Complete refin that he lightly aged and checked.
HM inlays and Uncle Lou' tips.
The board and truss rod are stock.
I'll be picking up some aged speed knobs for it from RS as well.

Nice. I like the fret board -- looks a lot like the board on my early '04 R7, Maddie rosewood, right (that's what the dealer told me about mine)?

Very nice. But ehm.... could we see a bit more of that flametop Explorer that's hanging next to the Goldtop?? Looks kinda interesting to me!

I'm jealous!

That is SOOO exactly the next guitar I've been wanting for a very long time.

R4, aged and refined by DJ master. Yep

Congrats!
