One of the best live rigs I ever heard was the Blushing Brides lead guitarist but maybe a newer cab. Killah.

@DrewB

Congrats on a killer amp/cab combo :cool:

man, I am so jealous :D that is one of the best rigs in town IMHO and the concept takes me back over four decades when I was using a comparable set-up.

here is a pic from June, 1982 of me playing through my 1964 black face Bassman on a slant front 4x12 Marshall; I stripped off the black Tolex.
Also my first Strat that I chiseled out the bridge pickup route and threw a humbucker in. I used to really piss off my neighbors at 7 AM with that rig. :LOL:
I burned up an original first run Scholz Power Soak in just three days on this rig; lucky I didn't set the house on fire but it smelled really bad.

I'm glad it was the Power Soak that took a dump and not the Bassman!

Ah, memories: Moosehead, cassettes, raglan tour shirts, and CRT TV... that was an era!

The Rainbow version. That's not that old, amiright?

saw my first ever concert (Rainbow) @ age 15 just a little over two months after the release of 'Rising'
That was 47 years ago ...... damn I'm old now :whistle:

I was playing Flying Vs and SGs at age 15 but seeing Blackmore LIVE in July, 1976 would eventually make a profound impact on my musical directions.
I eventually played Strats exclusively for 20 years. :eek:
