I’m sure this topic has been covered before, so I apologize for any redundancy on the forum.

My 2001 LP Classic Plus came with Seth Lover’s. The pots and wiring appear to be stock.

What differences in tone/playability could I expect if I changed out to 500 pots and 50s wiring.

Is audio taper or linear taper preferable for volume/tone, or different for each?

What is the difference between long shaft/standard shaft, and what is recommended for this guitar?

Thanks...

I have done this also on my Les Paul Classic and it is a noticeable improvement in tone and brightness and IMHO more tone versatility . Where before it sounded more darker and less bright like it was muffled or muted .
