Great guitar, great playing.

That's a lot of production kinda hiding the guitar's voice. IMNSHO. Would love to hear it cleaner. Oh, we do hear it cleaner in your first video.

That guitar is a very late '65, your video could point out some of those little details like the double line klusons, CBS logo and how many patent numbers are on the headstock. PVC guard with moved screw hole, etc.

I play a 1960 slab board and still use the 3 position switch. Not hard to get all five positions and it keeps that little "mojo".

Thanks a lot Wilko and yes, I did demo the cleaner part in the first video and in some of the next videos like the comparison with my Masterbuilt….. I try to demo all kinds of sounds knowing that many have different tastte is Sounds ….anyhow thanks for pointing again !!

To be honest : I have bought the guitar in good faith that it is 100% original and luckily it is after checking all things and doing some main research so did not know all the fine details of these vintage Strats…..I did post in another post here I think (??) quite some pics of the Strat though but if someone is interested, of course I can always make some pics and post it …. Thanks again for pointing that out too mate, appreciated !!

I am still learning the fine qualities of this amazing guitar !

I could hear the Fractal Audio touch on the recording. :)

Still looking for one of these guitars, but even in the U.S., the good ones are snapped up too quickly. Are you able to get vintage Fender Princeton, Vibrolux Reverb, Deluxe Reverb, or Bassman amps on the continent? Gregor Hilden has a shop in Germany, so he may be able to assist. Have you tried these overdrives: Klon Centaur, Limited edition Tube Screamers, or Free the Tone SOV-2?

Sorry for the late reply my friend !
There are quite some guys who are dealing in these vintage amps , quite pricey though.....I have luckily just received my '68 Marshall clone by Kool Amps...and that just gives me all the basic tones I need at the moment. I can't use combo amps , only heads because of my setup with the load box and stuff....I love playing through my studio monitors and live InEar so don't use any speakers.

Funny enough I am just going through the Klon proces / or the clones of it !! The limited Tube Screamer I did have and liked it very much but my previous amp did not need any OD boost, so sold out to a friend of mine.
The '68 clone will definitely see another Tubescreamer style pedal and a Fuzz Face is coming.....the Klon thing ...Oehhhh , I am leaning towards the KTR....

You ?? Please share your thoughts :)
