What pedals are you hitting your Fenders with for unique tones?

I've got this little white Boss pedal that I sometimes use, it sounds very unique, when I stomp on it , amp hiss is pretty much all you hear. Ah, yes, it also helps me tune my guitar.

I love my moog 12 stage phase. Best phase pedal I've ever used. Then there is the stomp under foot muff clone and a boss chorus ensemble ce-1.

I like to play a Strat through one of these

I'm a Nobels ODR-1 guy through and through...little green box that isn't a tubescreamer in any way. A lot of my Nashville friends turned me on to it.

Also just digging into the Ibanez Mostortion world - another Nashville favorite. It's a MOSFET overdrive with a passive 3 band EQ.

Outside of slapback, not much of an "effect" guy.

I dig clean amps, pedal dirt, and some slap and that's it.

I like this for some extra push and a little edge.

But I really like this for non- tube screamer.

If I feel the need for some TS, lately it has been this.

The circuitry in the Klons was specifically designed for use with Fenders, so they absolutely bring out the best in Fender tone with the added ooomph <technical term>. :yah

They really do...it is such a unique circuit...with the gain under 9 o clock it also works as a clean boost with Matchless amps etc

I have other drive/boost pedals, but the Klon just has it's own thing going on. :dude:

I think what a strat asks for is a smooth overdrive, most of all.

SSS strats will have that wonderfully snappy and clean sound, and they need perfectly organic drive to sound bluesy or to rock properly.

I've tried many dirt pedals but the one that "hit the sweet spot" was... a Danelectro Daddy-O.

This little stomper is just perfect, although cheap and underrated. I like the bass-mid-treble controls, it gives a wide tone palette.

That's the main effect I use. I also hit the CS3 compressor-sustainer for some sounds.

I really like the original Dan Armstrong/Musictronics Orange Squeezer. It has a very nice combination of grit and squish.

For clean boost, I've got a Keeley modded Boss Blues Driver. Level knob to taste, Tone at noon and Gain all the way off. Start turning the gain up, and it adds some very smooth dirt.

I have a Mojo Hand Mule that I have hooked up all the time. It has a very tweed-y overdrive and at full tilt it has a pseudo fuzz kinda tone. Love the pedal. Supposedly modeled on the Way Huge Red Llama.

What pedals are you hitting your Fenders with for unique tones?
