And I do believe it comes in Lemon... la
Any Les Paul that's a CC is really a Historic @ double the price. Go to a major guitar show & play 50 used custom shop models. Save $$$$$...you'll find exactly what you want. But, by all means, BUY USED. WAIT for it. The value at buying new IS NOT THERE. By the time you make the necessary mods to your Les Paul, you'll be broke enough.
Find one that feels good & sounds good ACOUSTICALLY. TRY MANY.

So Joe records Pump with a Superstrat or something (see the Making of Pump video) and it's a huge rock album with dense guitar work and songwriting that rivals Rocks, then he and Brad get Bursts, then they start writing dumb ballads for MTV and never make another decent record. Ok, I'm getting a Charvel.

A couple years or so ago there was an article on Brad Whitford in Guitar Aficionado that talked about a few of his choice vintage instruments. I don't remember the details of the article, but this is the burst he owns now. I'm going to screw this up, but I believe I recall him saying that sometime around pump? They started making money and could afford guitars again... guess they had to sell almost everything when the band went downhill.
