• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

If you want that Plexi/JTM 45 sound out of your Fender amp....

So i got my JHS Charlie Brown today and i really really enjoy this pedal!
Just tried it with my modded Blues Deluxe (Jensen C12N,7025s in V1,7025w? in V2 and a 12AT in V3) and i´m using TAD Tone Bones to go from 40W 6L6 power to around 18W EL84 power ToneBone PENTODE (price per pair converter) - TAD ToneBone ......

Amazing how good this pedal gives you that classic JTM 45 sound. Better than all the others i´ve tried...And sounds soooooo good with a Maxon OD-808 in front...

Anyone else here is using one?

If so, what are your favorite settings on it?

I have no doubt it's a great pedal. Have you tried a Rockett Pedals Animal OD? Does the same thing for me.

New pedal day is always a good day. :dude:

It's the cumulative effect of the impacts after whiffing on all those field goals.

I love pedals. I especially love all the variations of Overdrive! Distortion and Fuzz too.
So many excellent flavors and degrees of burn! Yum!!

Awesome.

Sounds cool. Get that sound without going deaf in the process.

Have fun. That's what it's all about, isn't it?

I feel the same way fer poor Ralph Wiggum, Blackie. He might have a few more but it's still very sad.

I had a JHS treble boost for a while. Sounded just like my old Rangemaster but a little too noisy. Pretty good nevertheless.
