• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

It will be hard to beat 7 bursts on stage in one night.... Still, records were made to be broken... :nut

It's a hell of a lifestyle... :dude:

Beautiful experience! I might be going to Nashville (and visiting Gibson) 1st week of June.

That's Joe's Burst, aka "Skinner Burst". :hank

Amazing what color the Skinner Burst displays under stage lighting. Here is a picture of me holding the Skinner Burst at the Dallas Show just prior to JB's acquisition. See the greening?

Here's Brad's burst. It's a 9 06XX series guitar. JUST KILLER!

:wow Thanks for those pics of Brad's Burst, it looks amazing. The whole set of guitars looks amazing! Everybody here needs to go see a killer player like Joe playing a number of Bursts on stage, where else can you see something even remotely similar? I would have loved to be there! :salude

I think it would be very cool if Joe is keeping some kind of journal detailing the individual playing/tonal characteristics of each burst. Think about it…you've got one guy, playing with the same touch, technique and amplification on all of these different instruments. It would make one heck of a read for us junkies.
