LOL ! don't feel bad ..i'll go downstairs and forget what I went down for
..anyway, Tom I wish member "pioneer" was still around, in his last post from 2004 in the link above he mentioned that his '52 did have a metal jackplate ...would love to see a pic of his to comfirm a match.
