• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

Wow, this is pathetic...

Is it my imagination, or did it look like the model number on the orange label was inked in with a sharpie? (at about 1:35 in the video) THICK.

Oh -- and those are NOT original '60s PAF labels! (7:04 in the video)

Looks like a narrow nut -- my guess is it's a '67. With much newer pickups.

$17.5k? Ummm... No.

I love the part about the cut / spliced pickup wires with the Electrical Tape connected to the bogus PAFs as being the "factory soldered" conclusive evidence. That is almost like a Saturday Night Live routine right there.

Craigslist: A place where idiots with no capacity to sell on other venues hope to find someone dumber than themselves to rip off.

Why aren't anyone commenting the video itself? It would be a bit more constructive and maybe it would help steering interested people away from this seller/"deal".

They are replacement witch hat knobs. Compare the numbers (the font) to originals - they are not the same.

Someone should call Turnpike Music garage and tell them to take this video down. There is so much wrong about it in every way.

It is a slow motion train wreck...

All comments here were right on..... I actually did a little repair to an early sixties 335 not to long ago (pot) so this one piqued my interest.

Funny: When this joker started to talk about "PAF's," his eyes did a tell-tale torque roll in his head that almost made me dizzy :rofl

Flagged.

Holy crap-this guy's in the next town over from me. I can go tell him how wrong he is in person. Better yet, maybe I'll bring him one of my 345s just to see what he'll give me for it. If that one's worth $17,500, my mint '60 has to be worth $35K.

No vintage expert by any means, but to me the body shape (ears) was a dead giveaway right from the start ....:wah

They must've turned off the camera just before his pants burst into flames.
