Players...
Looking for opinions and evaluations of Gibson Invader Sonex 180 Deluxe Zebra Pickups!
I have a 1983 Invader in Tobacco Burst with these installed.
Some call these "Dirty Fingers," some don't.
I've seen a lot of Invaders...First I've seen this color, how about you?
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.

:ganz Interesting. I have an '80 Sonex Custom with the "Dirty Fingers" (actually says so in the owner's manual) PUs. Mine have adj. poles in both coils. Hmm. :hmm

Funny how they look like Ibanez Super 58/Super 70 pickups....which also often got stamped with a 6-digit number........

All the Dirty Fingers I have ever seen had two mounting screws and double-rows of adjustable poles.

Anyway, if you like the pickups, then keep them.

Thanks guys. I didn't think they were dirty fingers either.
Anyone have these installed? Curious to hear comments about the tone and performance of these...
