Yes its a great sounding guitar with loads of character, if i'm honest my 2006 (50's neck) standard is probably less of a fight to play, but sometimes its good to dig in and fight.

Thank you! Here it is in a stair well by my dorm room in my senior college pic, 1979. That one posted shot was the only time I wore that belt with it.

And four years and many pounds ago in the studio where I work...

I have a factory "Deluxe Standard," probably a '72. Pots date to late '71, and obviously the embossed covers are another time stamp. It's all original and in excellent condition for a half-century old. Dark back on this one too, very unique and clearly a special order.
