What model is this being used on? Are they doing a 52’ Reissue Anniversary model? Or are these badges being put on all “R” models as an anniversary for Gibson

I ask because , although i love all the old LP’s

This year had issues with the neck angle and the bridge?

Looks like it’s only be done on 70th anniversary models similar to only alpine white Les paul customs in 74 had the 24th anni inlay

I'd love to have one of these plates! I was born in 1952, so it'll have a little bit of a special meaning!

I think that it's on all Gibson Custom Shop LP models that have a toggle switch (except the SG Les Paul by all means).
Saw it on a 2022 R9 and also on 2022 Murphy Lab.

Same here , Dave's had a 22 R9 that was already sold and that's where I seen it .I do like the new switch cover I must say .

You do know that Edwin is with Heritage in KZOO now . Rick I don't know as maybe he is retired ?

My favorite switch cover is the 60th anniversary with the industrial diamond chip which the other day in night lighting really shone like never before and I was like wow ! Plus how it sits on the big diamond outline . I know I sound corny .
