'63 SG into '65 Deluxe reverb. I am sure the amp helps, but man it sounds great. I almost get a Cream era Clapton vibe on those OD tones.

Sweet tone, definitely could have done without the delay though. It's a solid trick for playing your local club or pub but not really what I want to hear when evaluating a guitar's tone. A touch of reverb from the amp would have been enough.

Rant aside I'd love a guitar like this. I really want an SG, but I'm just waiting for the right one. I guess I really want one with a 60s spec but a baseball bat neck...it'll be a long wait!

The neck on my VOS SG is comfy, not baseball bat though. Would a neck that is too chunky make it a bit neck heavy?

It's awful. Guitar sounds great though. Agree on the OD pedal....doesn't sound like any BFDR I've heard w/o a pedal.
