Impossible To Find? Gold P-90 Pick Up Covers

OK guys. Here's a tough one. A buddy of mine just purchased a LP Gem Topaz. Looks and sounds awesome! Of course it has the cream P90 soapbar covers. He's looking for GOLD COVERS! Where in the USA could he possibly find these things. Seems like a classic "needle in the haystack!"

This one from MikeSlub's collection (from an article about rare Les Pauls on this site) is the only one I've seen with them, maybe you could ask him!
