• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

i was just wondering about something. I bought an 02 R8 from a forum brother a couple years ago. It has a sticker on the p/g "butterscotch"..If anyone has a C of A for one of these, and it might be for my guitar, could u please drop me an email at "Alsaxe@aol.com". I"d appreciate it..we can then check the S/N's.....Al....

90% of the '01 and '02 R8's were Butterscotch. A handful were either Darkburst or TriBurst. As for finding the CoA, the chances are slim to none. But in order to attempt to find that, you need to post the serial number, as all CoA's are serial # specific.

i understand that they r serial number specific. I didn't know if it was taboo for me to list the s/n on here....i had no idea that most of the 02's were butterscotch. I"m not that versed in historics....lol...i'll pull the guitar out of the case and list the number on here...as long as it's ok.....thanx....Al

Al, it's true, some guys get weird about posting their S/N....I could give a crap...Ive owned most of my used Historics w/o a Cert. I had no problem posting the S/N when selling them or posting photos of them.
