• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

What is the technique for removing the wire from an ABR? I need to reverse one of the saddles...

I just pry out mine, it doesn't take much effort at all to do so. I use a small (flathead) screwdriver.

Its spring loaded is what we are saying..

Its only in about an 1/8 of an inch inside the hole.
Just gently pry it out and lift out from around the screws on one end..
Pressure/tension holds it in place.

Thanks... I probably could have figured it out on my own but I was afraid I would break something...

Came out (and went back in) just fine. Thanks again!
