• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

Does anyone know where I can find an original '60s wide bevel 330 pickguard? These things seem impossible to find!

Is it possible that a two pup guard from a late 50's ES 225 would fit?

Ya, I've scoured the parts guy's sites and I've been watching ebay for months now with no luck... oh well, I guess I'll just keep looking. Thanks for the suggestions.

I had that thought, not sure. I'd kinda just like to get the right one for the guitar if you know what I mean. I was gonna get a nice repro made but I knew that though it would look the part it would bug me every time I looked at it.

I got a really nice repro 330 pg from Parts is Parts. It had a nice bevel and fit perfectly. It was under $30. I did a little relicing on it and it looked great...might do until the real thing comes along.

I saw that one and it looked pretty good. Do you have a pic of it on your guitar?

No, I sold the guitar a while back. I was very happy with it for the money when I got it though.
