What tonal differences have you guys noticed, if any?
I tried a couple historic standards, with and without the maestro trem and to me the trem model was a little less sustaining, more open, softer, warmer, and overall better for cleanish stuff.

Wow, I saw these posted at harmony-central. What killer looking guitars. I've actually never been interested in these guitars, but I must admit the koa looks stunning. I guess they are from Centre City Music in San Diego, some kind of custom special run or something.
Do the current custom shop production LP customs have weight relief holes like the standard line does, or are they of lighter wood and solid like the historics.

Sucked thoroughly. I was bored off my ass and couldn’t wait for it to be over.....but it drug on and on. A couple funny Will Farrell parts couldn't save it :nay :nay
Seems these are now similarly priced with the 137 being just a little bit more but offering a lot more by way of finish, binding, and inlays. Anyone have any opinions on how they compare both in feel and tone? I've never seen a 137 in person so I'm kinda in the dark.
