    Are these Shaws?

Black/white leads off the coils, white plastic spacers, supposedly an ink stamp is there, but faded to the point of almost being gone.

SG's - Maestro vs. Stoptail - Tone difference?

What tonal differences have you guys noticed, if any? I tried a couple historic standards, with and without the maestro trem and to me the trem model was a little less sustaining, more open, softer, warmer, and overall better for cleanish stuff. I thought the regular stoptail version had a...

    Custom koa 356's !!

Wow, I saw these posted at harmony-central. What killer looking guitars. I've actually never been interested in these guitars, but I must admit the koa looks stunning. I guess they are from Centre City Music in San Diego, some kind of custom special run or something.

    ES-333 vs ES-137

Seems these are now similarly priced with the 137 being just a little bit more but offering a lot more by way of finish, binding, and inlays. Anyone have any opinions on how they compare both in feel and tone? I've never seen a 137 in person so I'm kinda in the dark. Thanks, Tom
