• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

You humble son of a gun...

To the person who said they didn't see where everybody was directing anger and hostility at me they're right it was just a few people being jerks. The majority of people on the forum didn't say anything. As I said there's always a few bad apples in every barrel screwing things up for everybody else. I'm not buying this we were just joking bit. That's BS in my opinion. You don't joke with someone like they're a lifelong buddy you've known since Grade School the first time you meet them, at least I don't. Not one person had anything decent to say to me until I'd had a bait and blasted the ones throwing off on me. Although I do know Michael and consider Him a good Friend my posts had nothing to do with that even though people probably won't believe me when I say this. Here's the deal. I'd seen Prima Guitar Shop Pickups but their price was so cheap I figured the Pickups were probably crap. After all, the Handmade Handwounds I've seen are $400 minimum with some costing over $1,500. So I figured with Prima's costing $106 for a set of 3 single coils ($35.33 per Pickup) and $181 for a set of 2 Humbuckers ($90.50 per Pickup) there can't be too much to them. Boy was I wrong. About about a year later I read a Post on The Gear Page saying they were sceptical of Prima Pickups, but they were so cheap they figured what the heck and ordered a set. The poster said, "Michael is the real deal and Prima Pickups are hands down the best I've ever owned even Pickups costing 3 o 4 times the price." After reading that I figured they must be good because this person had no vested interest in them nor were they making any money from posting what they did. I ordered a set they everything the poster said they were and more. I won't buy anything else now. Where else can you buy Super High Quality Handwound Pickups that cost less than Gibson's, DiMarzio's or Duncan's? The poster helped me and I was trying to help Y'all here on the forum. It's just that simple, nothing more. The whole thing gotten blown way outta hand. The main thing I can't understand is why people seem to be so suspicious of me. Why do people think I have some sort of agenda or ulterior motive. How come people seem to wanna read all sorts of stuff into my posts. Why do they think I'm pimping these Pickups? Why am I being told I'm infatuated with Michael, I have no connection with Him and I don't even know him by someone halfway around the world who's never met me and doesn't even know me? The worst is someone making fun of me and saying I was posting "Fake Blessings." It takes a mighty sick individual to think someone would actually go around posting "Fake Blessings." That's something they would do or it would never even occur to them to think that. If any of you joined a Forum and people immediately started accusing you of all that then said, "we were just kidding (which is total Bullshit) after you got pissed. You'd take it for what it is, anger, hostility and downright hatred. Why is it so hard to conceive that someone may just be telling the truth and they are posting something genuinely trying to help people. This has taken up way too much of my time and the time of most of the forum members, who like myself are here to help one another. I'm not wasting anymore of my time or Y'alls time on this. Enough is enough! I know where to find a lot of good deals on on other stuff too,. Wiring kits with 5% tolerance CTS 30% TVT (True Vntage Taper) Pots, NOS Sprague Vitamin Q PIO Caps, Gavitt Cloth Push Back Wire complete with a Switchcraft Jack & Toggle Switch for $54 bucks. ABR-1 TuneOmatics machined from Solid Billets of 1060 Cold Rolled Annealed Steel (twice as hard as 1018), MS58 Bell Brass or 7075 Aircraft Aluminum for $140. Custom made Luthier Tools accurate to within .0001" per foot. American made American Steel Locking Tailpiece Studs for $11 in Chrome & Nickel and $13 in Black or Gold and other stuff too. If anybody wants to know just ask me of email me and I'll help them all I can.
Love, Light & Blessings.

P.S. Someone said I need to separate my posts into paragraphs. When I hit the space bar and indent my paragraphs it resets the margins all the way to the left when I hit post and I don't know what to do about it any suggestions will be appreciated.

Indents don't work unless you post a period (or two to get more space) and color it black. But a return (twice to space is even better) works on every keyboard and machine type I have tried.

...(Notice the indent?) And it was a joke, but if you call bullshit then I guess it must be to you. I apologized once Jimmy. I meant it. If you can't accept that and wish to remain butthurt then I am sorry again. Which probably puts you calling bullshit again. I used to feel really bad about the type of person who I can't joke with out of the gate. You are curing me of that weakness.

...(Notice the indent and separation? If you highlight the space you can see how I did it.) When you have a thread which is mouldering for 5 years and somebody hops on it and "walks that zombie" (a renism© (my shameless (and gormless) pimp)) I believe that warrants further examination into possible pimpage. Is pimping bad? Not necessarily. It can show us a new vendor we were unaware of. Like this. Is it a pimp? By definition yes. But since it was done in a kind fashion it's acceptable. When you can laugh about it. When you can't? Can't cure you Jimmy. Meant no harm...

P.S. (I don't indent out of languorousness) In my mind pimping and shilling are close but not the same. With shilling you stand to gain monetarily. Unless you are Curt, but he ain't getting any better (and besides uses a "c" in there).

This forum really has turned into a pimping/spam/marketing fest. What's next? Amp restoration threads as (not so)thinly veiled spam.

Some do. Some don't. Most think I'm a waste of storage space. I'm good with that.

Your posts sometimes give me seizures but I really really enjoy them, don't stop doing your thing.

Apology accepted Renderit. If you say your sorry then I take you as your word. I wasn't looking for an apology I just wanted everyone to stop throwing off on me and realise I was being sincere. As for being "Butt Hurt" I'm too much of an Asshole for that to happen.
I also apologise if my posts came across as pimping or schilling, that was not my intent. I was only trying to help everyone here on the LPF save some money by letting them know where they could get Super High Quality Handwound Pickups for less than the price of mass produced machine wound Pickups. That's all. The only reason I even posted that is because someone said something about trying to find Pickups that pair well with Korina (Limba). I read that post and thought, I'll post some some information on Prima Guitar Shop Pickups, save people here some of their hard earned cash and help them get a Superior product to boot. I thought people would realise I was the telling the truth and doing just that because I have no vested interest in the Pickups and I'm not receiving anything from posting what I did.
As for the other products I mentioned in my last post I'm not getting anything from any of those either. I just know where to find a lot of good deals. If you or anyone else here needs/wants any of that stuff just ask or email me and I'll tell you where to get it. I work on Guitars and I know where to get a lot of stuff. I always try to find the best products at the best prices and pass the savings onto whomever.
Love, Light & Fake oops I meant Real Blessings to

Thank you Jimmy. Let's bury the hatchet then. In THIN SISSY! YAAAAAAHHHHH!

You will notice I quoted your original post in another thread in this section where somebody was looking for pickups. I will eventually give them a try myself but it may be a while as most of the guitars I have are very acceptable as they are and I have stockpiled about 20 sets of others at this point.

If this isn't blatant spam, what is? :wah

To Thin Sissy. We have no hatchet to bury, I'm not mad and I don't carry grudges so I shake your hand and alll is well. I know where to get a lot of stuff (not everything) let me know if you need something and I'll try to help You get the best product(s) at the lowest price. Leo Fender got it right when He said, "No machine will ever take the place of a talented hand winder." Machine wound Pickups are $200 to $400 per set. Where else can you get Pickups for $106 (3 singles) or $181 (2 Doubles), especially Handwounds. Even if You have plenty right now check Prima's website it's really nice.
To Pellman 73. I'm in Coats NC a little 2 stoplight town about 100 miles from Pinehurst.
To J.D. I thought spam was junk mail you receive in your inbox. Now that I think about it I guess this qualifies.
God Bless Y'all, Every One! Jimmy in NC.:...

Perhaps read the rules in The Front Desk.

Excerpt:

All SPAM or advertising/marketing posts outside the Classified area and the Dealers Boulevard IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED, and will be deleted immediately. I hear you J.D. and I'm not even saying you're wrong, but that was not my original intention. My only intent was to stop LPF members from wasting their hard earned cash on a lesser product I.E. mass produced machine wound Pickups and let them know, hey you can go over here, get Superior Handwound Pickups for less money. Whenever you find something truly good you wanna share it with as many people as you can especially your Friends and I consider everyone here as Friends. Were all like minded people coming to this Forum trying to help one another are we not? I thought that was the whole purpose of the LPF in the first place. I was not trying to spam anyone or get a bunch of Shit started but it seems as though I have so for that I'm truly sorry. I'm Formally Apologising to You and everyone here at the Les Paul Forum.

Nope. Not even. What young Jimmy did was NOT an advertisement, not marketing, soliciting or research marketing. If you want me to go over each definition and WHY it was not met I will be happy to. If you followed that to the letter and expanded the "soliciting" part to include "mentioning even though you are not profiting from the sale of said product" I could not introduce a B&G guitar in the Non-Gibson Forum. Or recommend any amp by name. This would become a very sterile and unappealing (and worthless) place.

Nope. I'm with young Jimmy on this.

Repeated mentioning becomes an annoyance for sure, like those that keep bringing up "Tokei's mopping the floor with Les Pauls". But not strictly outside the rules. That is MY take. YMMV. I do not play a lawyer on TV. Perry Mason I'm not...
