• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I couldn't play that guitar... I'd spend too much time staring at the top! I could spend all day just looking at the figure around the knobs, beautiful.

It sure is the bomb Jo. Yeah, mine's no lightweight either. It's gotta be over 9 easily. I love it though!!!

Thanks Dan ;-)
BTW can someone illuminate me: how do you go about tightening the toggle switch nut? There's a special tool for it?

I weighed Ghostie today she's 9.25 lbs, so she's not light! I'm thinking of chambering the guitar - with shots from a Marshall 4x12 :laugh2:

Pardon my stupidity.. But how does one chamber a guitar with out removing the top? I would think that after the $2.5K you spent at HM that it would be perfect..
BTW.. 9.25 lbs isn't exactly that heavy for a Lester. My R-4 GT weighs 8 lbs 14 oz and my R-0 weighs 8 lbs 15 oz. My R-7 Custom weighs 9 lbs 6 oz. Why not just buy an already chambered LP?

Just joking people, i said "with shots from a Marshall 4x12". I meant, the only way it could get lighter is when you turn it up and... then you don't care about lbs, looks, anything... ;-)
Thanks Red Baron!
