I just played my 2007 R8 VOS with the wrong glue , tress rod , pickups - don't tell Mikey this thing is killer - 2003 gold Top R7 is a real turd the further I go back in my Historic collection - the tone is likened to sound of pushing out a stuck TURD ! Send a used Historic with hondurian Mahogany to Historic Makeover, get some decent plastics and new pickups.

As I understand they still use Honduran mahogany, the only difference being that is grown in Fiji.
