The Dumble Robben is playing there is said to be a Bluesmaster HRM circuit.
Don't know it C-Tone offers that circuit.
The ones that I know do are:
Two-Rock Classic Type II
Bludo-Tone
Fuchs is coming out with one soon
Brown Note Blue Monkey.

Here is a vid clip from the NY amp show.Sound quality isn't that great but,you get the idea.
Bludo-Tone Bluesmaster HRM.

Thanks Sean

I've been doing some research on the Bludo-Tone. Thanks for the vid, the amps really does sound special. It kind of sounds clearer than the Fuchs which I also like. Have you tried any of these amps yourself Sean? I'd be interested in any feedback.

Thanks again

My Bludo-Tone will be here next month. It will be an HRM with a Skyline EQ.
I've also got a Carol-Ann OD-2 and just bought a used Glaswerks.The Glaswerks is at Gary's(builder)for a checkup,recap and a mod.
FWIW Larry Carlton has gigged with a Bludo-Tone and loved it.He used it while Brandon was reparing his two Dumbles. From what I gather Brandon(Bludo-Tone)is building Larry some amps.Robben Ford also gigged a Bludo-Tone and gave it a thumbs up and said something to the effect that it sounded and felt just like his Dumble.
Here is a pic of Larry's rig he used while his Dumbles were in the shop.

Sounds exciting Sean, thanks for the info. I fancy a Bludo-tone, but there is a years waiting list.

Yes,Brandon has about a year waiting list.
Give Moss a call at Brown Note. They will be offering a Bluesmaster called Brown Monkey(IIRC).The prototype has made a round and is back with them for final tuning etc.

Well,my Bludo will be here next month. Can't give you a comparison just yet.
My Glaswerks will be here next week.Gary did a cap job and a few other updates as well as a tube change.
The Carol-Ann is an amazing amp. Some of the best cleans I've ever heard and the OD is HRM Dumble with a bit of Marshall.Smooth with plenty of creamy gain on tap.The CA is a EL34 amp and one would not expect the amazing 3D cleans from those bottles.
If you want you can send me an email with your number and we can chat.
I'll let you hear the CA if you want.:2cool
