My oddball 1983 Tele "Standard" with the Elite saddles. These were only made for two years - '83 and '84.

Nice guitar. They fitted that bridge unit to the Japanese Standards and Squiers - the black, '86 Squier in my previous post was originally fitted with one - when US was moving from Fullerton to Corona. The Elite bridge was different. It was pretty much a hardtail version of the Elite Strat trem unit.

In other news...
Picked this up at the weekend for a project.

Just jammed a Tyson Precious and Grace PAF into the neck of this one, and it sounds great! The bridge is a BG1400 with a split on the volume control
