I found out about an apparate stash of old LesPaul rhythm/treble switch rings, in some parts someone inherited from some old repair guy, and naturally I would like to check them out ASAP.
I wanted to find some details on exactly how to tell the original switchrings from the post '68 version and others. I am aware there are issues involving the letter font, the thickness of the ring, and the tint of the plastic, but I am hoping to get some clear specifics.
I did some forum searches and found two references to where Ganzler posted a pic apparently showing an original versus a '68 side by side. Unfortunately that link no longer works it appears Joe has since removed that pic from his web space.

Does anyone have that pic or some other similar clear evidence?
If someone saved that pic originally from Joe and can either post a link to it online or if it is not too large a file email it to me, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all, brian_gwn@hotmail.com

That'd be mine in the picture on the left now;) It's on my 57' conversion. Spendy little piece of donut shaped plastic;) But, it's the real deal.

Here's Joe's picture...
Thanks Cody, that's gotta be the pic. I think in one of the previous discussions thread from some time ago you were one of the people that mentioned they were going to save that pic for future reference. Thanks again!
