Hey Al, 54RI update

Just got my 54GT RI today from Dave's Guitar Shop. I gotta tell you man, you were absolutely 110% right. This guitar is magic. I've only played it for 5 minutes, & I love it already. To me it even looks the way a goldtop LP should look. I've decided my 57GT RI is gonna go. Dave gave me a great deal & I gotta go do some pickin & grinnin.

No I'm affraid I do not have a 54.I sure wish I did.My appologies if I made it seem that way.

I do however have a Gibson Les Paul with P90's and a Wraptail.It's a Special.It also happens to be the world most humble looking guitar as it is a natural finish thats been around for 28 years.So any time I see a new LP it gets me going... Especially GT's.

This was a thread that SamB started from a previous archived thread....We were discussing the merits of 54 vs 56's ect..... You will see my position on this subject hasnt changed much.

BTW I love my wrap and P90's combo.:dude
