Does this truss cover look right?

I’m having some fun trying to learn about vintage correct pieces for my 2023 LP standard. Does this truss look correct for 61 or beyond LPs? I see mixed results in my searches. I see some three layer, but most seem to be the two layer that I’m more familiar with.

Is there any reliable reference to vintage correct plastics for the 60’s era LPs?

Thanks!

What exactly are you trying to copy? There wasn't a lot of years for Les Paul in the 60's. A vintage 50's Les Paul cover was 2 ply. Historic reissues are the same. 3 ply cover was used by Gibson on many varying guitars over the decades.

I guess I’m trying to copy a 60’s burst. I’m shaky on the timeline. Bursts were produced up to ‘61 before the Les Paul turn in to the SG?

What year is the current Les Paul “60’s” Standard being modeled after?

When did the reflector knobs appear?

Thanks

The Standard is made with a 50's or 60's profile neck, but it isn't really trying to copy the old guitars like the Historics do. If you want your guitar to look more like a Historic reissue go for the 2 ply cover with a wide white bevel.
