Broken Magnet

OK, I didnt like the sound of the Antiquity neck
PU, So I was going to try the Magnet switch
to full strength, but the magnet broke in half
on the potted pick up I was removing it from.
My Guess it's no good now. Am I right ???:eek :wah :pisd :alcy :grrr :doh :sick :roll :dang

As long as you put it back together the way it came apart, it should be fine. It won't lose any magnetism. But you HAVE to make sure the two halves are magnetically aligned. Drop of superglue, and rock on.

the verge of :out .So i'll try it tomorrow

Don't you hate that? I have learned to fix many things on Sunday mornings after attempting to :davepaf fix them Saturday night! :doh

I would super glue it together before reinstalling it. You never know if it could cause microphonics.

Ok I do have one thing to add to this post afterall. Careful, superglue fumes are dangerous! I have sniffed a little too much:dead:
