Very nice especially the headstock inlay!

Of course, that burst and board are easy on the eyes, too.

Talk about a task... threading strings through a 12-hole trapeze.

...

Keeping folks here updated (a bit tangential but still on topic of Gibson 12-strings):

Gibson Custom recently released an interesting 12-String: a 1965 Non-ReverseFirebird in Pelham Blue, $6k.

All original, near mint condition, says "Special" on orange label, nice wide neck for easier playing of a 12-String, plays great powerful sound! A rare bird -- find another!

Nice!

Have you seen this one? (No affiliation, obviously!)

Note to self: I must do a NGD! I have an electric Gibson 12-string (not the one in the picture!) that I've been meaning to post! I'll eventually get around to it!

Very cool guitar. I've seen a couple over the years converted to 6 strings.

Tailpiece is slotted. Restringing is easy.

I made custom saddles for one so it can play in tune! Pics to follow

Wow - you can count on Mike to land those special ones. Plus it should be more playable than the later ones - what were they thinking at Gibson and Rickenbacker by cramming 12 strings on those narrow necks?
