THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin
Well, it plays great. I have to play it more often. Itˋs fun to play it unplugged because it is louder. Pluged into an amp ithe sound has more mids and is more airy, less deep. But it has bite. If that makes sense.
Neck shape is like a 60ties neck. It is a bit neck heavy, unusual for a LP.
I have one. I think its a 1999 Custom Shop Custom. Didn't play it in a long time, shame on me. But i put new strings on and will play it more often:-)
Pic will follow
Sorry, but i have to ask for this one, as there are not many around.
Mods, if this is against the rules, please delete.
What you guys think is a fair price for a 2007 R4 Oxblood? Guitar is clean, changed Pu, but original Pu is there. Just Vos versions, not the later signed ones.

Welcome.
The Sweetwater description above is excellent.
VOS should only have a dull finish and hardware. No other aging or playware.
An aged guitar can still be mint, if it only has the Murphy or factory dings on it:-)
Since you asked for it....
Nice guitar, great top, but i don't like the finish too much. Maybe if the Burst would go all the way around. Tough decision, as you say it plays and sounds good.
If i understand the situation correct. You got some fender guitars and your sister got the beloved Gibson black beauty? Can't you not just do a trade, when they don't play guitar at all? Have the Black Beaty refretted and play it. A refret is a normal thing to do and not a hack to a guitar.
