Do you mean 2012 and get upgraded details, like the pickups? Or did you actually mean 2021? The 2021 wouldn't need to have its pickups swapped.

I'm ready to take the plunge and purchase a Les Paul Custom 57 Reissue Black Beauty, but I'm having some trouble deciding between them with differences in price, years made, pickups, etc. without being able to try any of them since my area doesn't have any. There aren't a ton of them out there...

The pickups are an easy fix. Neck isn't. And none of the guitars, or even those models, are available in my immediate area. If I could play them I would, but I'm basically stuck with comparing "sort of" similar guitars and necks to each other .
