• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE HAVE MOVED THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER! Let us know how it is going! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

Ian Anderson

34 years old, playing since 13, love AC/DC to bits and *only* play Les Pauls!!! (I do also have a Tele Custom set up for slide with an Esquire pickup that screams).
Jarrow (near Newcastle), UK - LOOKING FOR PAID GIG
Current Gear
'91 Les Paul standard with Shed Pickups Blues/Twos
'72 Tele Custom RI (lots of upgrades, it rocks!)
HTH AMPS 30w 'cathode biased' EL34 combo
Previous Gear
too much to list but I do miss my old '67 Plexi which I sold to pay the rent :0(

I also regret selling the first Silver Jubilee head I ever owned, none of the others sounded anywhere near as good as that one did.
Musical Influences
most 60s and 70s guitar music (ZEP, FREE, AC/DC), punk (THE CLASH, PISTOLS) and metal (SLAYER, COC, SEPULTURA), and BJORK (She defies pidgeon-holing)
