Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
May be of interest to some, I didn't find it super exciting though there are appearances by Henry J, interesting insight into the inner workings. Its a reality doco about advertisers competing for business with Gibson. Not sure if this is only available to Australia, and the link will expire in...

Hi, i would like to get some feedback on my recording of a 1960 vintage burst compared to some other guitars: I have no doubt about what it is it had the typical shattered glass looking vintage inlays, the finish was old and beatup. The case was literally falling apart, and I 've seen enough on...

4 guitars used:
1. genuine 1960 Les Paul Standard sunburst...

"Ready to test your ears? In our brand-new CM Special (vol. 25: Guitar Power!), we pit £7k of real amps and hardware recording outboard against two sub-£300 digitally-modelled solutions to see if traditional guitarists – and you - can hear the difference. "

I have never owned a PAF but the sound seems similar to what I have heard here on LPF in the PAF shootouts and some classic heavy rock...
