THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

I illustrated the graphic, and made the game in Flash, it was actually one of the school assignment back in 3 years ago. I still like it. Hope you guys like it too.
It might take some...

Hi sir,
I have just purchased a 1999 R9, same color as yours. Darburst.
But since your photos in the thread have expired, I can not see them. Could you upload one more time? Thanks.
Here is my 1999 R9 Darkburst, some detailed photos.
1. The fretboard inlays have rounded edges instead of...
I applied lemon oil to the dry fretboard and now it looks better.
here is the weight of the tailpiece, it is very heavy, but it is common.
One thing that I realized is that there is a string bar on the screws top in the tune-o-matic piece.
Dear everyone,
I recently purchased a 1999 R9 from Japan but it only comes with one certificate.
Usually, 1999 R9 comes with a 40th-anniversary certificate like this.(see the example image)
So I asked Gibson how to replace a new certificate, they told me: "You need to find the first...
What's more, This is what I have noticed when I go through tons of 1999 R9 and 2009 R9 pictures. (I was surprised that I noticed this tiny minor difference..)
1999 R9 The top of the pickguard is very close to the edge of the guitar.
2009 R9 The top of the pickguard has more distance to the edge...
Hey guys, I I just purchased a R9 from Japan. the serial number is 991020, I called Gibson, they say 991020 has two guitars.

2. 2009 R9 Burgundy burst.
I google the color, they are actually the same color just with a different name.
The cavity is a 1999 stock setup--The...
Hey fellows, I heard people saying 1999 Gibson Les Paul R9 are a pretty good and authentic reissue except for only one thing, the pots and caps(ceramic) are the most disappointing part that comes with the R9. Can any luck have the 1999 owners explained it a little bit to me? Or do you upgrade...
DOES ANY OF 2014 owners ever see this color? it is between lemon and sunburst. I have never seen the center finish is darker than the edge. Usually is brighter in the center body.
