• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

Absolutely top notch selection of goodies! I have never come across a first batch Goldtop like that. The Princeton Reverb and 911 are icing on the cake. Enjoy!!!

    Beauty in black

He's had a beautiful 1960 Burst that started showing up on stage with him in '84 or so. It is identifiable by the mineral streak just above the neck pu tone control knob. He's had that one for a very long time, so he must think quite highly of it.

Questions about a “SG serial” website project

It's hard to believe the absolute lack of response to your post. Sounds like a good project to me. I have owned a number of SGs over many years, four (at least), but have never been able to really bond with them. I am a Les Paul man at heart, so the SGs just feel and sound foreign to me. I...

    Faber bridge on R7

I had a Faber on an R8 I owned for years. It was a major improvement.
