Oh ok good to know. The caps look like they could be bumble bee repro. The pots don’t have much info on them other than 500k and 2021 on 2-3 of them and 2025 on the other. I thought they could be date stamps, until I saw 2025. So maybe the 2021 is coincidental?

From the pictures I’ve seen, RS Guitarworks has their logo on the capacitors. At least it appears that way on their website.

Right on, thanks! Looks and sounds amazing. I'd read that 2001 R8s originally had orange drop caps, and it appears the pots are CTS with a 2021 date on them - which is why I thought it had been modded. I sent pics to Gibson. We'll see what they say.
