• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Just got a new Brazilian from HOG ….in a word INCREDIBLE ! The tone is wicked and nasty in the best way possible. More bone chilling than my TH guitars. Fretboard feels harder and through a Marshall with no effects there is nothing better.

Can't upload pics for some reason....saying file exceeds my quota.

That is just awesome congrats on a new Brazilian Les Paul day ! , most awesome is the fact that you are playing it thru a Marshall because to me nothing sounds more glorious than a Les Paul BLASTING thru a Marshall . I swear that when Jim Marshall and Ken Brann and Dudley Craven were designing these wonders of tone amplification that they voiced them with a LES PAUL. I do not think for a second that is coincidental ,how the 2 go together like the proverbial horse and carriage . Rock on and crank that Marshall because those Celestion speakers do have to have a good amount of air pushing thru them . Happy Thanksgiving !

I'd say it looks hollow and thin. Like you can't see it in the wall of sound.

We need another sign post..

Something to stimulate our imagination.

Because we are going NOWhere.

Can you tell us about the finish while you work out the photo issue?

Congrats and good luck!

Thank you Froggie much appreciated !

Fit and finish are very similar to the TH I have minus the binding bleed. There is zero bleed. Typical swirl marks that go with the VOS look.

Fretboard is harder feeling than the Indian board.

Honestly its really an outstanding instrument and I feel blessed to be able to have it.

But then again I think all the later reissues are all awesome and find them all to be on par in sound and finish with some exceptions of course.

Looks awesome. It's great to see someone so happy with their purchase and appreciative.

Every time I look at my 2016 R9 I definitely think how lucky I am.

Still not sure why people are buying forgeries, I mean replicas, when you can get the real Burst DNA like this one directly from Gibson. :couch

Because a good replica is still better than the recent made.

I have both 2018 braz Gibson and GY burst. My GY is pretty much better in every aspect except for the look.
