• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I've seen multiple videos of people building guitars out of various materials - concrete, colored pencils, etc. - and the final product sounds like you would expect a normal wood guitar to sound. The funny thing is that all the videos I have seen have been of Strats. So a Strat made out of concrete or colored pencils sounds like a Strat. Ok, I get it. But I haven't seen anyone try this with a Les Paul or any other Gibson model. I wonder if the results would be the same or if we would see that a concrete Les Paul does not sound like a mahogany/maple Les Paul.

Are there any videos out there of Gibson models made out of non-traditional materials that I have missed?
