Reverb Mod for Amp?

Disclaimer: I’ve already googled this, haven’t found an answer. :)

Anyone ever modded an on-off footswitch for a Fender hot rod Deville amp? I love the reverb, but would like to be able to turn it in and off with a switch instead of running over and turning the knob down. I don’t have the link, but I read that an appropriately wired toggle switch could send the reverb signal to ground, but I’m not sure what that would look like from a wiring perspective.

any ideas? thanks in advance!

You might check with Andy at Rat Valve Amps, when he handwired my Blues Junior he modified the footswitch so that one switch does the standard boost while the other switches the reverb on and off. He might be able to point you in the right direction. :salude
