Perfect chip on headstock needs repair

Hey Gang.

I just joined today and could use some help.

Doing upgrades for a friend's LP.

I was removing stock bushing on Epiphone LP and tapped a little too hard and

chipped headstock.

Photos posted below.

The chip fits perfectly back in the gap...

HOWEVER, it now glows like a lamp.

I could use some pointers on what adhesive to use and how to color it black and make it smooth.

I DON'T want leave this un-repaired. Damage starts at the bushing.

cant see the pics from here, but an chip on an epi (poly paint) you repair using superglue, you might need to sand to get it flush again and you will then need to polish but it can be done invisible
