NGD ‘05 Gibson Explorer

Got this one yesterday. Got it for a fair price as it has some wear and tear. Spent some hours on it, and it is a good rocker! It came with Classic ‘57 buckers (which was the main reason I bought it), but oddly enough, with cheap chinese electronics. Put CTS 500k pots in with an Emerson cap. The hardware got some treatment as well as one of the previous owners used a screwdriver or simillar to simulate «stringwear» on pu covers, so I tried to cover it up somehow.

Quite happy with it now, as it turned out. Plays really well!

I suspect use of stickers to cover up has been done by previous owner(s) as it was covered with old glue. Not a fan of stickers on guitars myself. :hmm
