• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I really like a plaintop with that subdued burst finish, I am so sick of the gaudy flamed figured tops that so many seem to go for. That is one classy LP!.

Looks really clean for a guitar that's ("yikes") over a quarter of a century old.

Congrats!

Super excellent!

Very,very nice ---- :yah:dude::peace2

The trap inlays have that cool gradual inside sweep as they go down the neck. Does that make any sense? From the neck pickup,first three are pretty much like furniture grade angle cut

Down the neck they look different.

Congrats on a KILLER score.

LP's from that era are very well made.

That's a keeper sure.

I was extremely lucky to find one like yours,but an '89 LP Standard.

I found in a pawnshops about 3 yrs. ago for $1075 out the door.

The guitar was in very good condition with the original case.

It's an amazing instrument that I'm proud to own.

I examined my other Les Paul Deluxe and are the same...the last three inlays are equal, even the LP of 1989 posted here by Texsunburst59
