Amazing Top, Feel, and Tone! (Stock #1062)
This is one of the best R8s I've ever had come through the shop. It really has it all. The looks are perfect. The top has an amazing vintage look. The flame is strong and consistent with lots of movement. The nice grain pattern and mineral flecks really add to the vintage look. Gibson did a great job with both the color and aging on this one. The aging looks and a feel very authentic. The tone is incredible. It is very warm and strong while keeping excellent clarity. This one can do it all; it is very rich and full when clean and has great growl and honk when overdriven. The neck is a nice chunky C. It plays beautifully. This one is in as new, unplayed condition.
