I have a 1980 Les Paul Custom that I am considering installing a Bigsby Vibrato on. Will this increase the value of this guitar or decrease it?

No need to drill now with the Vibramates.

+1, check into the Vibramate for a B7, they just came out with it. No mods to the guitar, totally reversible, no decrease in value.
