Bassman 10, strange noise on E note

Hi All,

I have a 1975 Bassman 10 combo. It's a great sounding amp, especially with my Gibson R8 Les Paul.

It has just started making a strange noise (rattling/farting) when i play the E note which is found on 3rd string 10th fret.

Any ideas folks?
