I'm an avid fan of the Les Paul 'burst and own a honeyburst with narrow tiger stripes that are bookmatched to provide boner inducing thrills from every angle. The PAFs are double cremes that uncovered by the previous owner whereupon he lost the original chrome covers. I never found a need to replace them though. I push my signal through home built tube amps of varying wattage. Currently I'm sprung on a single ended EL84 design with 2 gain stages in front. The thermionics take my Lester's signal and massage it ever so sweetly prior to converting it through thOT and electrically preparing the signal to meet 2 early 50's AlNiCo Jensen * inchers I scabbed outta a Hammond one-celled organism. Some folks say I hurt their feelings have such tonal sweetness all to myself, I suggest they step to the curb. I'm not really stuck-up or else wouldn't be perfect. Hope nobody notices my chops are for shit!
