Visited Music Machine Last Week (Large Post)

So I was driving from Seattle to Walla Walla (for a wedding, Walla Walla is not one of my frequent destinations) and I stopped in Kennewick to visit Cramer at MM. That store is amazing. They have more gibsons in one place than I have ever seen. The basement is full of historics, and they have...

    1964 SG Special

Is a 1964 SG Special refinned in black with an abr-1, stopbar, and grovers (instead of the original wraparound and klusons) worth $1250? Everything else is original and it's had no repairs.

    Cascading Channels

    First Burst

Has anyone seen the supposed first burst on gbase, sold by toys in the attic? They didn't say an exact price, but they're hinting at over 250k. Is this legit? Is it really the first burst? http://www.gbase.com/gearlist/guitar_picture.asp?guitar=523288

    Switch Tip

Did original bursts come with what we now know as a creme colored switch tip, that aged on most of them to the amber color that comes with the reissues, or did they come with an amber switchtip?
