Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Hey guys. It's a lazy Sunday morning for me. So I'm thinking about that last thread on family pics. How about you guys posting pics of your loved ones. C'mon and share! At least I'd love to see them.
:salude
Mr. Ibanez and Mr. Strat are very jealous of Goldie, they're not on speaking terms. I sent them to their cases without supper ever since Goldie moved in so that they wouldn't pull any funny stuff on the new guy. I probably shouldn't worry cause Goldie can kick both their asses with one string tied behind his back.
ooops! too fast on the submit button. Sorry bout that. Continued...
My 1980 Strat (in Ltd ed "The Strat" configuration), a real sweet player with a gorgeous tone courtesy of smooth Bartolini pups. And featuring the latest addition to the family, my 05 Faded Standard (thanks to you guys here!) with my "custom" polish
And my personal baby modelled afer a BC Rich Wave, in Eastern Hardrock Maple. I sourced that chunk of figured wood out, carved the body by hand, bolted in a charvel neck in which I contoured the headstock to match the body contours, brass hw, and wired her myself. The master volume is at pinky reach a la Strat. Then there are individual pickup volumes with push/pull pots for splitcoil, master tone pot, and (my personal favorite feature) a rotating pups selector knob to keep the look clean and consistent and avoid flip switches.
Thanks for letting me share! Keep those pics coming!
